The African Media Network for the Promotion of Health and Environment (REMAPSEN) is a continental media initiative dedicated to strengthening public awareness on critical health and environmental issues affecting communities across Africa. Established in Côte d’Ivoire in 2020, the network empowers media professionals to disseminate accurate information, promote positive behavior change, and support national and regional development priorities.
REMAPSEN Liberia is the national chapter of this African-wide network, working to advance health communication, environmental advocacy, and the protection of women and children through responsible journalism and strategic media engagement. After a rigorous process, REMAPSEN Liberia has successfully completed its legal registration and continues to build partnerships with institutions, civil society organizations, and development partners committed to improving public well-being.
Supported by UN Women and aligned with REMAPSEN’s regional objectives, the Liberian chapter is preparing for its official launch on December 9, 2025, a milestone that will enhance visibility, collaboration, and impact across the country.
